PYQs from other states' SET Exam

Hello UGC NET and state SET aspirants, I usually focus only on UGC NET Solutions in my YouTube channel. There are many aspirants who are preparing for SET exams conducted in their states. Sometimes, I used to get questions from few subscribers (for which solutions are not available) from SET or any other question papers. I would solve their queries and send them the solution by mail. When I was solving few questions recently, I thought I can post them in my blog so that other aspirants preparing for NET / SET / TRB exams can make use of it. I have not mentioned any exam session. Only the questions that raised doubts among the aspirants are solved here. The units that contain solutions are alone linked here. The links to all the units, as per UGC NET Computer Science syllabus, are given below: Unit 1 - Discrete Structures and Optimization Unit 2 - Computer System Architecture Unit 3 - Programming Languages & Computer Graphics Unit 4 - Database Management System (Includes B...

Skill vs Degree

Present Education System Hope we are all aware of the path that we and our ancestors traveled! The present education system did not emerge in a single day. It had many efforts and many hardships!  It is quite easy to say that the present education system is wrong! But think for a moment! Before 2 years, Education system stressed class 12 and class 10 will have board exams. Did the system say class 12 students have to be trained from class 11 or class 10 students have to be trained from class 9? No where it is a written rule! When school managements stress this training, the teachers have to take additional responsibility in teaching the basics needed. Just for an example, class 11 in physics has thermodynamics - part 1 and class 12 in physics has thermodynamics - part 2. How come someone teach the second part of a subject without the first part?  Parents need to think! Do not select schools which gives training to entrance exams from kindergarten! Your c...

Computer Science in HSC (Tamil Nadu State Syllabus)

I had to visit this site for a purpose:  http://tnschools.gov.in/textbooks This site is Tamil Nadu State Government's website on the ebooks of Class 1-12 (available on both english and tamil medium). This syllabus is followed by Pondicherry too. So, whats there in this? I am a Computer Science graduate and hence it was out of curiosity, I had downloaded 11th and 12th computer science related books. (1) Computer Science (2) Computer Application (3) Computer Technology Whether you are a UG or a PG student, does not matter. Whether you are a college faculty or IT related employee, does not matter. Whoever you are, if you have pursued Computer Science, in any of your academic period, kindly have a look! I am yet to go through! But it may take a lot of time to complete at least to skim the content! Let us not miss to know what the book has!

Approaches to Research

There are 2 approaches for taking up and carrying out a research work in any field irrespective of any factors related to it: (1) Top Down Approach -  It starts from a broader perspective where you have no idea on what to do and at later stages narrows down to a problem definition.  Select your domain Select your area of study Select the topic that interests you Get updated information on whats happening around the topic Prefer a particular concept Dig more on what research aspects are available on the concept Think of a problem  And continues the next stages of a research work (as it is on a thesis contents page). Until you reach the last stage, you really don't know what to do. Once you trace it out, you start finding how to do. (2) Bottom Up Approach -  It starts from a single problem / task that runs in your mind often or you come across then and there. Some problems wont have a definite solution, while the others don't have so...
