Enable Virtualization in your system via BIOS

The first step to Virtualization is to enable the technology in our system.

Enabling Virtualization from BIOS is the standard way

Steps:

1. Power ON or Reboot your PC

2. When the PC restarts, based on the PC (HP / Dell / Lenevo / Sony) enter the respective key to enter BIOS set up.

3. In certain system, Press ESC to enter start-up menu and from there enter BIOS (Eg., F10 key)

4. Under Security / System Security / Advanced Tab, you will find an option called Virtualization Technology (VT-X). It may also be referred as Intel VT-x or AMD V based on your system.

Though the technology / process is the same, different systems mention it as per their naming convention.

5. Check if it is ENABLED. If enabled, exit the BIOS set up.

6. If it is DISABLED, ENABLE it by changing the value with appropriate keys as per bottom screen instruction. Save the changes and exit the BIOS set up.

Now, Virtualization Technology is enabled on your system.
