FAQ's on my YouTube Channel: Computer Science Brainery

Hello Viewers / Subscribers / Aspirants from my YouTube channel: Computer Science Brainery

This space contains my responses for various frequently asked (repeated) questions I receive in my channel's comments section as well as in mails.

You may find some of my answers little funny or irritating while others can be sarcastic. Do not mistake the tone of the answers. This is to engage the readers even though it's just text material. Also, I am a human being, so I too got emotions.

I have categorized the FAQs into three categories:

(1) Videos - Questions related to the video uploaded, its audio, clarity etc.
(2) Video Contents - Questions based on the contents inside the video.
(3) Unit Outline PDFs - Questions on the pdf content, payment process.

I am trying to test your eyes. That's why!
I upload videos in FHD quality. YouTube has various quality parameters ranging from auto to 1080p. Based on your net connectivity, this can be set manually. When there is poor net connection, it is set to auto - automatically chooses the quality based on network.
Now tell me, what I can do for blurring issue?

It's because my system does not provide higher size fonts!
When I prepare content related to a question, I try to keep them all in one slide. Only when there is necessity, I extend the explanation to another slide, keeping the question at least. It's because to map the explanation in your mind to that question.
Many of you are watching the videos in mobile as per my channel's analytics. Some are not even changing to full screen mode. Because, I checked in 5.5 inch screen to 6.75 inch screen mobiles, it is clear view only. But when you keep watching in small screen, ultimately your eyes will get tired.
Even in mobile screens, network connectivity matters for text clarity.
I do agree small text can make your eyes tired. At the same time, if I keep focusing on these things, it will ultimately divert my focus on the content.

Yes, I write in graphic tablet or pen tablet. The 9 x 6-inch working area has to map to FHD. Even though I write big, it would appear small. When it's capital letters or print letters, it can be better; but for running letters, it's like writing in space. Whatever I write, I talk. At least after 2023, I talk in English. So, even if I scribble, it can be still understandable if you follow what I talk.
By the way, this is not a written exam such that the evaluator cannot understand what I wrote and scored me less. This is teaching! When I get into the content, I try to write clear, but writing in an unruled paper that has to map to a screen is not so easy! What you see today on screen is not what I used to write using paper and pen. It's stylus. People who have experienced this can understand.

When I see multiple mails stressing me to write clearly, it really hurts me. You know why? I spend lots of time for preparing the solutions, the slides and animations, recording, editing and uploading videos. But people are trying to find faults in genuine efforts.

Earlier years, solutions were not even available. A decade ago, solutions were available without explanations, today more explanations are available for preparation. Since, you get everything online (via a click) now, you don't understand anyone's pain.
If you keep seeking comfort in whatever you get, you will never get satisfaction!

When I received such mails (may be 2-3), it literally spoiled my day!
Once I get such mail, wherever I am, I have to rush home or search my mobile; get into YouTube studio and check default language. It would be in English.
It might be set in Tamil by mistake, I don't say it's not possible. But those viewers could have checked if English audio track is existing or not in video settings, right? Instead of checking something is right or wrong, they directly pointed that it's not working! Who gets the burden in the shoulder now? It's obviously ME. It's sometimes because of your (user's) video setting, it would automatically go to your preferred language. Taking 5-10 secs to check for another language audio is not a big crime! If you cannot spare those 5 secs, remember, you are costing someone's time or stress for your hastiness!

Unit outline videos are summaries of all topics of a specific unit, according to the syllabus of UGC NET Computer Science. They were originally created in Tamil language.
When multiple requests were made to give English audio tracks for those videos, I started creating English tracks after multi-language audio feature got enabled in my channel.
The English version of the unit outline videos are called Topic Outline Videos.

What happens during the conversion of unit outline to topic outline videos?
There are 20 Unit outline videos and run for 60 hours approximately.
1. I split every unit's videos into many videos based on syllabus topics.
2. Once split, every video was joined with my channel's logo track in the beginning and in the end.
3. I upload them to YouTube and get the Tamil audio track in Tamil text.
4. I remove the timings, get the raw Tamil text (as I have talked) and then use Google translate to get the exact English text.
5. I make necessary changes to the translated text to suit what I have talked and what I wrote.
6. With the English text, I play the tamil video and mark the timing accordingly in English.
7. Once timings are marked, I create srt (subtitle) files for every video.
8. I add the subtitle file to the video, based on what shows up in the screen, I read in English. Here is the actual complication. I should talk in a way that should match the writing that was done in the video wherever necessary.
9. After completing one video, I have to edit the audio for any pauses or mistakes and sync it with the English subtitle file timing.
10. After editing is done, this English audio and the subtitle file will be added to YouTube. The final step is to set the default language as English (instead of original Tamil) so that when someone watches the video, it starts in English.
Now, there are 174 Topic Outline videos and run for 60 hours + few mins extra approximately.

Topic Outline Videos are available in English as well as in Tamil.
As of October 2026, 5 units were completed! 5 units are pending!

It is because I am free all 24x7. This is how my mind responds when I read such questions.
Last 2-3 sessions I tried reducing the time of one video by talking little fast and mostly by editing pauses and breaks between my speech. When I listen to it after edit, it's like I am talking even without taking a breath. This was mentioned by few of my subscribers via mail asking me to take breaths between talks. Only then I understood: just to cater everyone's comments, I should not change my way. That's y, this time - June 2026, I didn't do too much editing to remove pauses. Obviously, this sounded natural.
By the way, I never force anyone to watch my videos.
If you need content, if you need clarity, then you should definitely spend some time for it.
If you look only for solution in my videos without explanation, then I should say you are in the wrong place.

This is a suggestion I kept getting from many subscribers and few well wishers too.
Let me clarify one thing: I am not into YouTube for views, likes and shares!
I am here to share something useful.
When questions are organized unit-wise, it would definitely be helpful in your preparation. When they are put into single video with all units, it will help you during revision.
If you prepare in a standard way, you will really find this useful. But if you have your own terms / style of preparation, these organizations might not fit you!
I can't satisfy everyone's style / expectation, right?

Every exam session focusses on certain topics. If I have to do topic wise videos, then it would change for every session. This adds more of repeated content. To make you understand I will tell an example:
Dec 2025 has 3 questions on logic, June 2025 has 4 questions on logic.
When you prepare for June 2026 exam, I should release a video with 7 questions on logic topic.
June 2026 has 5 questions on logic. When you prepare for Dec 2026 exam, I should release another video with 12 questions on logic. 5 are new, but 7 are repeated! This is how my channel accumulates repeated explanation every exam session. I literally don't want to dump YouTube server.
Since something is given to us for free, we shouldn't misuse it - this is my ethics!

If you think I belong to NTA team, I DO NOT! Then how can I tell you these topics are important or these topics are expected? Am I logically correct or wrong? Just think!
Many of my subscribers studied AI very well for June 2026 exam. Exactly 3 questions came from AI. They prioritized AI in their preparation based on PYQs in 2024 and 2025. What happened finally?
It was a big blow! Even after this, if you don't learn that selective preparation will NOT HELP you every time, it's difficult! If it helps, it's mere luck!
I don't think we are so much lucky!

Unit Outline PDFs

I really don't know what to answer!
But this question is the topper of the list of questions provided here. I even answered this question in one or two videos. Still, I keep getting this question.

Getting to the response:
For people who already have good idea or understanding about all the topics in the unit, this material becomes a revision or revisit.
For people who are starting their preparation from scratch, this material will introduce you to all the topics in the syllabus. I would not know how much you understand after finishing this material.
How can you expect me to judge you without knowing your understanding?
But most of you expect me to say "enough" or "more than enough", so that you feel satisfied for you have only 10 pdfs to study to qualify the exam. This is mere assumption!

And take it from me!
Psychologically, when someone asks this question, definitely they will not complete even these 10 pdfs. Because their attitude or thoughts will never allow them to learn anything. It will keep them seeking shortcuts after shortcuts. They get tired easily when they start studying!
Remember: The problem is with the aspirant's mindset and not with the syllabus or content!

These pdfs are available for free for online viewing. You can get the pdfs from this blog's UGC NET CS page. But you cannot print or download it. I wanted to make it available for everyone. At the same time, when you want the material for yourself, you need to pay and get it.

I have clearly mentioned in the payment page stating I need 24 hours to mail you the files. But we never have the habit of going through anything, before buying something. Only after making payment, we tend to look at the rest of the page. This is consumer's mentality.
I cannot keep watching my mails for notification all 24x7. I too have works. Sometimes, payment gets failed after few secs. So, only after the payment gateway confirmation, I will receive their notification. Only when I see that notification mail, I can send you the file. Definitely, some people will get it immediately (probably, I would have been in my mobile that time) and some people will get it after few hours. It depends on when you pay and when I am online. And it's asynchronous communication.

Some people, without reading the payment page instruction, keep flooding their receipts in mails and in youtube comment section till they get a reply. I do understand their anxiety since it's their money. Again, let me remind you: I have already stated that I have to send it manually and it is not automatic process.

You are welcome to inform me if something goes wrong or does not work in the payment process.
But take some time and check if the page opens in another mobile or desktop or laptop before you initiate a complaint. Clear your cache and try once!

One of my viewers, few weeks ago, complained that payment process was not working. So I raised a complaint with my payment gateway stating her mail id. I was tensed for 5-6 hrs until the payment gateway replied me. The reply was: "No transaction was initiated in your payment page for the last 12 hrs". When I enquired the user, she clarified the page itself didn't open and it was not payment failure.
I checked in various devices and found the page is fine. When I asked her what the exact problem was, she said that she can pay only via upi and not by card. I was confused since we have all options to pay in the payment page. Only then I understood, the person was not even having idea about the payment page. I asked her to recheck her mobile cache, clear it if needed. I also asked her to check if the page is opening in some other device. After few hours, she said it's her mobile problem only. I lost nearly 10-12 hours of time on this.

If such scenario happens, please don't worry. If your amount got debited and the payment failed, that amount will be credited back to your bank account in 5-7 working days. This is an automatic process initiated by the payment gateway. In some cases, it may take up to 2 weeks, if we get lots of bank holidays in between. If you wish, you can inform me via mail. All I can do is to keep checking the status of the refund.
